Case study 3 video !


During our last meeting in Leipzig in November 2018, a colleague from AIMEN took the opportunity to be there to do some tests with FTIR spectroscopy to measure the organic acid concentration in the yeast bioreactor of Case-Study 3.

The video below presents the experiments which were conducted. Andreas Aurich from UFZ introduces the IBC container where the bioprocess takes place and takes the sample to analyse it. Then, Miguel Placer Lorenzo, presents the FTIR spectroscopy and analyses the sample to measure the citric acid concentration. This technology allows to monitor the different stages of the fermentation process.
