Beyond the upcoming EU regulation on water reuse – What else is needed for bridging the gap between policy, perception and practice?

Brussels, 21 May 2019, 10:00-13:00

The upcoming new EU regulation on minimum requirements for water reuse ensures that in the future agricultural irrigation will be monitored in a harmonised manner, thus mitigating concerns around hygienic and health issues as well as open markets across national borders.

However: Will the new EU regulation be enough to build the necessary trust and confidence amongst producers and consumers?

This EU Green Week partner event organised by the INCOVER project will explore suitable ways and means for bridging the gap between policy, perception, and practice and making water reuse in agriculture more widely accepted in the EU.
